Weekly works update
To keep the community informed about roads maintenance and repairs in the Cessnock Local Government Area, Council will be providing you with regular updates on where council crews are working and what they are working on.
In the coming week, Council teams and contractors will be working on the following roads (pending weather).

Sawyers Gully Road, Sawyers Gully – Lot 3 sealing works to be undertaken following the installation of subsoil drainage and finalisation of batters last week.
Anderson Avenue Walking Pathway, Paxton – Road seal to be completed to new kerb and gutter that was installed. Approximately 80m of new footpath has been completed with the next stage of footpath to be poured later this week.
Sandy Creek Road – Pothole repairs
Paxton area – Pothole repairs
Cessnock & Branxton areas – Pothole repairs
Tuckers Lane, Rothbury – Grading unsealed road
Kurri Kurri area – Slashing
Bellbird area – Drainage maintenance
Kurri Kurri, Heddon Greta & Pelaw Main areas – Laneway/shoulder maintenance
