Weekly works update
To keep the community informed about roads maintenance and repairs in the Cessnock Local Government Area, Council will be providing you with regular updates on where council crews are working and what they are working on.
In the coming week, Council teams and contractors will be working on the following roads (pending weather).

Sawyers Gully Road, Sawyers Gully – Profiling of pavement on Sawyers Gully Road continues and installation of sub base
Campbell Street, Ellalong – Sealing & batter works, and driveway construction
East Esplanade between Third & Fourth Streets, Weston – Concreting works for stage 2a finished, excavating and concreting Stage 2b
Wollombi Road Upgrade Project – Sewer, gas & comms installations on Wollombi Road. Service locating in eastern area. Watermain cutovers happening this week for properties to the new water mains that have been installed over the past weeks.
Watagan Creek Road & Blaxlands Arm Road, Laguna – Grading unsealed road
Murrays Run Road, Murrays Run – Grading unsealed road
Mill Lane & Whitings Lane, Quorrobolong – Drainage repairs
Branxton, Millfield, Abernethy & Cessnock areas – Pothole repairs
Weston & Abermain areas – Slashing
Olsens Road, Lodge Road & Londons Road, Lovedale – Grading unsealed road
Weston area – Road surface maintenance works
Congewai Road, Congewai – Pothole repairs
