Cessnock City Library is set to celebrate Adult Learners Week from 1-8 September with a variety of fun and educational events to support and encourage adults to expand their knowledge and skills.

Highlights of the week include a creative wool felting workshop on Tuesday 3 September at 10.30am, where participants at Kurri Kurri Library can learn to craft a felted wool heart brooch.

On Wednesday 4 September, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, wellbeing practitioner Kristy Woods will share techniques in breathwork and meditation to help participants enhance their nightly relaxation and improve sleep quality.

Library Services Co-ordinator Rose-marie Walters warmly invites the community to come along to the exciting events this Adult Learners Week.

"Explore, learn, and grow with us. No matter your interests, there’s something for everyone and it's never too late to embark on your learning journey," said Ms Walters.

"Come and discover the learning opportunities and fabulous free resources waiting for you."
