Mitchell is a Cessnock local. Born in Kurri Kurri and raised in Weston where he now resides raising his own family.
Having studied Education at the University of Newcastle, Mitchell brings experience from the health industry and has a further wealth of knowledge in the Occupational Health & Safety and Emergency & Disaster Management fields.
