Alcohol-Free Zones
An Alcohol-Free Zone (AFZ) is an area where drinking alcohol is prohibited. The zones include footpaths, nature strips and car parks.
The re-establishment of the AFZs is mandated to take place every 4 years. The below maps indicate streets declared AFZs in Cessnock, Kurri Kurri and Weston, as re-established at the October 2021 meeting of Council.
