Susanne, originally from the Western suburbs of Sydney, spent some time in Northwest NSW before returning to Newcastle. During her time in Northwest NSW, Susanne lived and worked on the land for over 25 years whilst simultaneously working in customer services for a small business for 23 years.
After returning to the Newcastle Hunter Valley area, Susanne had a career change working as a AIN in the aged care sector for 7 years before transitioning into disability support services.
Susanne’s main focus is to help the community to get more involved with their local council and community with better consultation and transparency, so council and residents can work together for the betterment of the Cessnock LGA.
