Community Spaces

Council carry out scheduled maintenance works on all Council managed parks, gardens, sporting ovals, playgrounds and tourist information bays in the Cessnock LGA.

Activities include mowing, trimming and edging, watering and fertilising, pest and weed control, line marking and installation of goal posts on sporting fields, minor repairs and litter removal. Playgrounds are inspected on a monthly basis and repairs undertaken as required.
