Businesses to make windows sparkle with Christmas spirit across LGA

Christmas is less than a month away, so there’s no better time turn on the festive spirit at your business for the community to enjoy.
Windows That Sparkle: Cessnock Business Christmas Window Display Competition is open for nominations until 5pm Sunday 30 November, with public voting then set to run from 1 to 15 December.
Winners will be announced on 18 December, with four prizes up for grabs:
- 1st prize - $500 Visa gift card
- 2nd prize - $300 Visa gift card
- 3rd prize - $200 Visa gift card
- Mayor’s Choice prize - $100 Visa gift card
Cessnock City Mayor Dan Watton encouraged local business owners and their staff to use their creativity to create joyful and eye-catching window displays.
"Whether it’s a café, shop, office, or large retailer, add some sparkle to your business and go in the running to win a fantastic prize," said Clr Watton.
"This competition is a great way to promote your business and show the community just how much Christmas cheer you have to spread!"
To enter, visit together.cessnock.nsw.gov.au/windowsthatsparkle, complete the entry form and upload a photo of your display. Each entry will be showcased in a gallery for the community to view when they vote.
