The chance to own some treasures from the Cessnock Library trove is almost here, with the popular annual Big Book Sale returning on Monday 2 February.

A wide variety of pre-loved books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs from the library’s extensive catalogue will be available to buy in the library foyer for bargain prices, to make room for new titles to go onto the shelves.

The sale will run until Wednesday 25 February, or until stock runs out. It’s an opportunity bookworms and bargain hunters alike should not miss.

Acting Library Services Co-ordinator Andrew Powell said his team was thrilled about the return of the book sale for another year.

“This event has been a huge hit with the community in the past and we are excited to offer even more amazing deals this year,” said Mr Powell.

“By purchasing from the book sale, the community is not only getting a great deal, but is also supporting the library and its efforts to offer a diverse range of resources for all ages.”

Visit the Big Book Sale from 9am on 2 February in the foyer of Cessnock City Library, located at 65-67 Vincent Street, Cessnock. For more information, call the Library on 4993 4399.
